Smart India Hackathon Winner 2023

Welcome to my personal website, where I am excited to share my achievements and contributions to the field of technology. In 2023, I had the privilege of participating in the Smart India Hackathon, an esteemed competition that challenges innovators to address real-world problems through technology solutions. I am proud to announce that our team emerged victorious, showcasing our dedication to solving pressing issues.

Our project focused on tackling the difficulties in operating heavy earth-moving machinery during the rainy season, which typically spans 4-5 months. The primary challenge arose from extremely poor visibility conditions, leading to significant losses in excavation and production. To address this, I took on the challenge of creating a cutting-edge solution.

I successfully developed a YOLOv8 model integrated with a Defogging algorithm based on Dark Channel Prior. This innovative approach enabled real-time object detection within defogged video frames, significantly improving visibility and thereby enhancing the overall efficiency and safety of operating heavy machinery during adverse weather conditions.

In addition to this groundbreaking solution, I also designed and implemented a Mutual Map using Next.js 13 and Leaflet.js. This platform enables users to share their live locations in real-time, fostering collaboration and communication among team members. Whenever a user logs in, the Mutual Map facilitates the exchange of mutual live locations, promoting seamless coordination and enhancing overall project management.
